Nebraska License Classes
The standard non-commercial license is a Class O, which allows you to operate cars, mopeds, ATVs, and UTVs, but not motorcycles or commercial vehicles. A separate Class M license is required for motorcycles.
Commercial Driver’s Licenses (CDL Classes A, B, C) are needed for operating large vehicles, those carrying 16 or more people, or those transporting hazardous materials. Special permits like the Farm Husbandry Permit are available for specific agricultural purposes.
