Prohibited Parking Zones in Nevada
Parking is strictly prohibited in many locations for safety reasons. You cannot park on a sidewalk, crosswalk, within an intersection, on a bridge, in front of a driveway, or next to a fire hydrant.
Other prohibited areas include railroad tracks, disabled parking spaces without a proper placard, bicycle lanes, and within specific distances of stop signs, traffic signals, and railroad crossings. Colored curbs also indicate regulations, such as red for no parking and blue for disabled parking only.
