Turns and U-Turns
To make a safe turn, signal in advance and be in the correct lane. For right turns, stay near the curb and yield to pedestrians. For left turns, use the lane closest to the centerline and yield to oncoming traffic and pedestrians.
U-turns are illegal if a sign prohibits them, on a curve, near the crest of a hill, or in a no-passing zone. If a U-turn is permitted, you must stop and yield to all traffic before completing the turn.
