Your Vehicle
Wyoming law requires every vehicle to be properly titled, registered, and insured. You must carry minimum liability insurance coverage of $25,000 for injury/death to one person, $50,000 for two or more persons, and $20,000 for property damage. Your vehicle must be equipped with functioning brakes, lights, turn signals, mirrors, horn, seat belts, and windshield wipers.
While Wyoming does not require annual safety inspections, you are still responsible for maintaining your vehicle in a safe operating condition. Driving without insurance or with defective equipment can result in fines, license suspension, and other penalties.
