Drivers must always yield to pedestrians, especially at crosswalks and intersections. Be extra cautious around children and individuals with disabilities, who may require more time to cross. Never pass a vehicle stopped at a crosswalk.

Give bicyclists at least three feet of space when passing and yield to them when turning. Be aware of large trucks’ and buses’ no-zones (blind spots) and never pass a turning truck. Always stop for a school bus with flashing red lights, unless you are on the opposite side of a divided highway.
