Pedestrians always have the right-of-way in crosswalks, and you must yield to blind pedestrians using a white cane or guide dog. When passing bicyclists or motorcyclists, leave at least 3 feet of space and always check your blind spots before turning or changing lanes.

Large trucks and buses have extensive blind spots, known as “No-Zones,” on all sides; avoid lingering in these areas. You must stop for a school bus with flashing red lights and an extended stop arm unless you are on the opposite side of a divided highway. Always yield to emergency vehicles by pulling over to the nearest curb.
