“No Parking” Zones in Michigan
Parking is prohibited in many locations to ensure safety and access. You must never park in front of driveways, within intersections, on crosswalks or sidewalks, on bridges, or within 15 feet of a fire hydrant.
Other no-parking zones include areas within 20 feet of a fire station entrance, 30 feet of a stop sign or traffic signal, and 50 feet of a railroad crossing. Always look for and obey posted “No Parking” signs.
