In Case of a Collision
If you are in a collision, you must stop immediately and move your vehicle out of traffic if it is safe to do so. Check for injuries and call the police if anyone is hurt. You are required to exchange your name, address, driver’s license number, and insurance information with the other drivers involved.
If the police do not come to the scene and someone was injured, killed, or a vehicle was towed, you must file a Driver’s Accident Report (Form AA-600) with PennDOT within five days. If you hit a parked vehicle or property and cannot find the owner, leave a note with your information and call the police.
