Maximum Speed Limits in Kentucky

When no sign is posted, default speed limits apply: 65 mph on interstates (70 on some), 55 mph on other state highways, and 35 mph in business or residential districts. The speed limit in public parking facilities is 15 mph.

These are maximum speeds permitted under ideal conditions. You are still legally required to obey the Basic Speed Law and reduce your speed when conditions are not ideal.
