Parking Rules
When parking, always use your parking brake. On a hill, turn your wheels appropriately: away from the curb when facing uphill, and toward the curb when facing downhill. If there is no curb, turn your wheels toward the shoulder to prevent the vehicle from rolling into traffic.
You must never park in “No Parking” zones, which include areas within 10 feet of a fire hydrant, 15 feet of a stop sign, on a sidewalk, in a crosswalk, or on a bridge. Colored curbs indicate specific rules, such as blue for accessible parking and red where stopping is prohibited.
